My next book is Rudyard Kipling's Stalky and co.
A collection of boy's own adventures for the main set in a school, the style was very popular at one time. I just love the ingenuity of these young lads, who were destined to be the men who created the empire on which the sun never set, or at least perpetuated it.
My final story is The Ransom of Red Chief, from the start you know the final outcome, but the journey there is worth retelling.
Pure comedy in the vein of the home alone films, but accentuated by the fact the kid in question, holds no agenda but to simply play.
As you may have gathered it is an ever changing list, and by mid year it could have shifted again like the sands.
